Book Review: Dark Matter-Blake Crouch

Imagine waking up one day, and finding out that your world isn't your world. Your life isn't your life anymore ... Someone has stolen your life, the one you had built for many years and feeling satisfied with.

What would you do? How would you feel? What are the measures you're willing to take to get your life back?

This book has caught me by surprise. It's a mix of sic-fi and psychological thriller. A very complicated mix to comprehend at first but the writing style will not fail you, it will keep you going till the very end of the book, till you can grasp what's going on in the story.

Brilliantly written!

Meet Jason Dessen, a university professor, married to the love of his life Daniella and has one son who is 14 years old called Charlie. One day, someone abducts him, inject something in his arm, and then he finds himself awake strapped to a gurney with strangers surrounding him. In this place, he's a well known scientist who has won a prestigious award but living alone without a wife or son!

Which life is the real one? Is this for real to begin with?

This book explore more than unrealistic scientific theories. It explores the human will and desire. What you can have and what you can get! Will you say "enough" or will you want more? You can never have it all.

"We all live day to day completely oblivious to the fact that we're a part of a much larger and stranger reality than we can possibly imagine".
